Our Projects

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a set of 17 "Global Goals" spearheaded by the UN, involving its 193 Member States – to make a better world. ( The goals are contained in para. 54 UN Resolution A/RES/70/1 of 25/9/ 2015).
Whilst the fundamental philosophy of the Rotary is “ Service Above Self” and we fully support United Nation’s 17 SDGs, we are only 1.2 million strong versus 7 billion people in UN’s member states. Therefore it makes sense for us to concentrate on Rotary’s six area of focus as follows:

  1. Peace and conflict resolution and/or prevention
  2. Disease prevention and treatment
  3. Clean water and sanitation
  4. Promote maternal and child health
  5. Empower basic education and literacy
  6. Help economic and community development

For more than 110 years, these our guiding principles have been the foundation of our values: service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership.
