Rotarian Singles Fellowship Asia (RSFA) - Provisional

The success of RSFI has encouraged us to explore the possibilities of chartering a similar fellowship in our part of the world - the Rotary Singles Fellowship Asia (RSFA).
World Money has recently listed the world's top 10 countries with the highest number of singles as follows:

NumberCountry% of total population
10Brazil10
9Kenya15
8South Africa24
7Russia25
6Canada27
5USA28
4Italy29
3Japan31
2Britain34
1Sweden 47
As Hong Kong is not a "country", it has not been included. However, we know from our Census records that 61.3% of HK men and 56% HK women are married, meaning 38.7% men and 44% women are either single, divorced or widowed. Had we been included, we would have ranked second in the world !

Roughly 3 million singles is a lot of singles by any standard anywhere, definitely a formidable force to be reckoned with. We hereby call upon all the singles in Hong Kong to stand up and be counted ! Not only should you be acknowledged with the respect you deserve, together we can put our collective energy to help serve the community and make the world a better place.. While the process of chartering RSFA will take time, there is no reason why we cannot meanwhile, continue to realize meaningful projects and help make a difference in someone's life... "Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can change the world"
